Role Summary
As a Certified Home Health Aide (CNA), you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the quality, safety, and continuity of care provided to patients in the Portland, OR territory. Your daily work will have a direct impact on the well-being and comfort of patients.
Responsibilities
Provide personal care services, including:
Bathing, back rubs, oral hygiene, shampoos, and changing bed linen
Assistance with dressing and undressing
Skin care to prevent breakdown
Toileting assistance
Maintain a clean and orderly patient living area
Assist with self-administration of medications
Adhere to documentation, care procedures, and professional conduct standards
Meet productivity expectations based on business needs
Qualifications
Valid and current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificate
Meets state and federal training requirements
At least 18 years of age
Ability to read, follow written instructions, and document care
Self-directed and capable of working with minimal supervision
Compassionate and empathetic towards patients
Current CPR certification
Valid driver’s license and a reliable, insured vehicle in good working order
