Role Summary

As a Certified Home Health Aide (CNA), you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the quality, safety, and continuity of care provided to patients in the Portland, OR territory. Your daily work will have a direct impact on the well-being and comfort of patients.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care services, including:

    • Bathing, back rubs, oral hygiene, shampoos, and changing bed linen

    • Assistance with dressing and undressing

    • Skin care to prevent breakdown

    • Toileting assistance

  • Maintain a clean and orderly patient living area

  • Assist with self-administration of medications

  • Adhere to documentation, care procedures, and professional conduct standards

  • Meet productivity expectations based on business needs

Qualifications

  • Valid and current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificate

  • Meets state and federal training requirements

  • At least 18 years of age

  • Ability to read, follow written instructions, and document care

  • Self-directed and capable of working with minimal supervision

  • Compassionate and empathetic towards patients

  • Current CPR certification

  • Valid driver’s license and a reliable, insured vehicle in good working order

Compensation

  • Starting at $22/hr, negotiable DOE

  • Mileage reimbursement provided
