Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
Experience:
• 36 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required from last 12 months.
• Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.
• Experience with Omnicell is preferred from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Maine license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36.
• Weekend Hours: Every other weekend required.
• Float Requirements: Float required to all inpatient units
• Experienced surgical nurses who also have experience with telemetry. This is a 37 bed unit with a high churn to accommodate our surgical population. Bariatric experience is preferred; We have an Ultrasound IV Team who work 7am to 10pm, We do not have issues usually find a nurse to help with IVs as needed.
• Equipment: Specialty beds (bariatrics), wound vacs, prevena vacs; Baxter IV Pumps.
• EHR: Omnicell, Cerner.
• Must Have Skills/Experience: Telemetry, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias.
• Common Diagnosis/Treatment: Medical management of diagnoses such as DM and PNA, trauma, general surgery, bariatrics, plastics, urology.
• Scrub Color: Navy Blue.
7 days maximum time off
1 reference from last 2 years (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission
