Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
• Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.
• Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
• Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred from any number of months
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Mississippi license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Additional Details:
Candidates who have 2+ years of experience, 3 days or less RTO and who can start on date posted in the position can be auto-offered.

Must have charge experience
Shift: 6:45p-7:08a
Float as needed.
No on call.
Weekend and holiday requirements are required.
Hcp will be scheduled based upon need.
No block scheduling.
No self-scheduling.
Patient Types: General med surg, weakness, COPD, respiratory failure.
Age range: 21+
Required:
Minimum 18 months of acute care experience
Strongly prefer 400+bed or level 2 trauma experience
NMMC needs complete availability and flexibility with scheduling. This is non-negotiable.
Please Note: 1st week does not have guaranteed hours.
All travelers are required to float to units within their competencies.
All HCPs will be required to take and pass a “EKG/Dysrhythmia competency verification”
RNs should be prepared, passing score is 80%.
EMR: Epic - EMR must be listed in work history.
Please indicate all EMR experience and where/when HCP has had experience with Epic.
Patient Ratio: 1/6-7 (1/8-9 if LPN present)
Dress Code: Scrubs - Cobalt Blue; not provided
RTO required upon submission
Must not have worked perm/per diem at NMMC in the last 12 months.
Orientation: Every Wednesday
HCP is expected to maintain their contracted position at NMMC as the primary commitment above any other type of work.
7 days maximum time off
1 reference from last 12 months (Any reference type) - required for submission
