Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• 36 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
• Experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a California license (required for submission).
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Declinations not accepted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Declinations not accepted.

ICU Float - Required
Guaranteed Hours: 36
Float: Yes - Medical / Surgical, Will float to IMC and Tele as needed.
Average patient census of 7 patients.
Patient Population: Trauma and MICU; Very high acuity patients
Level 2 Trauma Hospital that does not transfer out any trauma patients unless they are pediatric
Required:
Must have trauma and neuro experience
Travelers will not be assigned the CRRT patientsthose typically are assigned to staff.
Will work every other weekend
Dress Code: Scrubs - Any color of professional scrubs. No other facility logos permitted
Orientation: Will accommodate start any day of the week.
Will start in Human Resources and complete paperwork and obtain badge, next onto Occupational Health for Respiratory Fit Test and then will meet with Nursing Education to complete appropriate testing for their unit.
All RNs will take a medication test the first day
After testing, will go to the unit to finish their shift with a Clinical Preceptor.
ICU will provide three orientation shifts to the department, including one shift on IMC unit.
7 days maximum time off
2 references from last 3 years (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission
