Landscape Foreman- Full Time
RiverWoods Exeter is currently hiring for an experienced Landscape Foreman to come and join our team! This is a Full Time M-F benefits eligible position.
RiverWoods Exeter sits on a 200-plus acre campus and is home to the RiverWoods Exeter Arboretum with over 220 different species of trees and fantastic trails and gardens. The Landscape Foreman is responsible for the care, safety and appearance of the grounds, and associated equipment and vehicles. The Landscape Foreman performs variety of duties to keep the landscaping department functioning smoothly and effectively.
The ideal candidate is an accomplished Landscape professional with a combination of mechanical knowledge, understanding of landscaping practices, basic landscaping and snow management skills and the desire and physical ability to work outside in all conditions. We are looking for team members who will bring their best selves and specialty skills to our organization. Along with a “can do” attitude, we anticipate you being able to pivot and fill whatever role is needed to create a safe and caring environment for our residents and fellow teammates.

Responsibilities:
- Provides quality customer service with a positive attitude and commitment to teamwork while meeting the needs of residents, staff and visitors. Supports all aspects of the RiverWoods community.
- Provides leadership to landscape personnel in the landscape managers absence.
- Performs routine grounds care including: planting, mulching, edging, mowing, trimming, pruning, weeding, sweeping, plant removals, seasonal clean-up and other such tasks.
- Performs advanced landscape maintenance tasks including, plant selection, plant healthcare, garden renovations, landscape plan reading and calculations.
- Performs and leads snow removal including: clearing and treating roadways, parking areas, walkways, stairways, other areas and cleaning resident cars.
- Assists with and leads with landscape projects.
- Liaises with resident committees on plans, purchasing, installation and maintenance
- Provides on call shift coverage.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 7 years of landscaping experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to obtain DOT medical card
- Ability to operate a Commercial Motor Vehicle
- Training and/or industry certification(s) in general landscaping and horticulture
- Expertise with relevant computer programs and electronic devices including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Horticulture degree preferred
