ChristianaCare is seeking an Occupational Therapist to work in an outpatient setting at the Helen F. Graham Cancer Center in Newark, Delaware. In this position, you will provide Occupational Therapy for individuals requiring treatment for oncology, vascular, and other related types of lymphedemas. You will also have the opportunity to treat other oncology related diagnoses, including but not limited to, cancer fatigue and neuropathy.
As an Occupational Therapist with Christiana Care, you will be part of a dynamic team of highly specialized clinicians. You will establish appropriate treatment programs that include goals to be attained and complete all documentation relating to patient care, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries. Our skilled team of therapists has developed many special skills that enhance our care of the patients we serve. You will be supported with education, training, and mentorship to gain the necessary knowledge and skills to care for your patients. and We encourage active learning and have a dynamic student affiliation program.
Education and experience requirements:
- Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate graduate of an A.P.T.Aapproved school of Occupational Therapy
- BLS Certification required
- At least two years of experience preferred
- Lymphedema experience preferred
- Lymphedema Certification or interest in certification preferred
- Licensure or eligibility for licensure in Delaware
