Position Summary:
The Employee Health and Quality Assurance Nurse is a full-time position equally divided between the Employee Health and Quality Assurance departments. This dual-role nurse will support the integration of quality and safety principles across the facility, lead performance improvement initiatives, conduct regulatory and accreditation activities, and manage data collection and analysis for quality measures. Simultaneously, the nurse will be a member of the Employee Health Department and will participate in Employee Health Processes including but not limited to onboarding new employees, illness tracking, employee exposure and outbreak work-ups, immunization and FIT Testing clinics, maintenance and updating of Electronic Records and Spread Sheets as directed by the Infection Prevention and Employee Health department director. This role requires strong critical thinking, excellent communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while fostering collaborative relationships throughout the organization.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum work experience previous hospital nursing and or nursing education preferred.
- Registered Nurse must be valid Utah Nursing License or Compact State License
- Associate's degree in nursing required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 60 days of hire
