Job Description:
Assists the clinical dietitians in providing high quality nutrition care to meet the needs and expectations of hospitalized patients of all ages. Working under the supervision of the Clinical Dietitians, this position assists patients with meal and snack selections to meet their needs. Attends multi-disciplinary care rounds to gather data and help dietitians prioritize workload. Provides education to low risk patients such as cardiac, fractured jaw, low or high fiber, and some diabetic diets.
Education Qualifications:
East Market:
Graduate of Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics approved two-year dietetic technician program OR completion of four-year dietetics undergraduate program.
Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
No certification/licensure required.
