Summary

Position Summary: Performs a variety of technical testing and procedures on patients in the Cardiology Laboratory, Nuclear Medicine Department, and other areas of the hospital.

Essential Functions: Under moderate supervision, performs a variety of technical testing and procedures on patients. Performs non-invasive technical procedures and documents such as exercise stress tests, EKG, EKG editing and billing. Assists in transporting patients to and from department.

Requirements: Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate’s degree (2 years college); requires knowledge of a specialized field. 1-3 years of hospital-based patient facing experience preferred. Strong computer skills. American Heart Association BLS Certification required. Certified Cardiographic Tech preferred.
