Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of role experience is required from last 3 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required from last 3 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Scheduling: Expected to work every other weekend, every other holiday where applicable.

Block booking and Schedule patterns are based on department needs.

Guaranteed Hours: 36

Gen med level of care.

Experience as an RN in a healthcare environment.

Every third weekend (day shift Sat/Sun, night shift Fri/Sat), and holiday rotation.

Travel RNs are first to float to other departments as needed.

Dress Code: Any color scrubs is fine, no pediatric scrubs please.

Unit/department specific training and orientation program: Travel RNs receive initial onboarding in collaboration with the department’s Clinical Educator, completion of online learning modules and orientation to the unit. Travel RNs typically have one 12-hour shift in orientation on the floor with a unit preceptor and then work independently with an assigned group of patients thereafter.

7 days maximum time off

1 reference from last 12 months (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission

1 reference from last 3 years (Any reference type) - required for submission
