Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required from last 3 months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical Float Pool experience is required from last 3 months.
• Experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Hawaii license (required after submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• COVID booster required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Scheduled 36 hours per week following first week of orientation.
Required:
2-10 years experience
Procedural Sedation - Preferred
Floating to other units: Medical Unit / Laulima Unit / Cardiovascular Unit (on rare occasions)
Patient Ratio: Medical - 1/8 (Nights), Laulima - 1/6, Cardiovascular - 1/4
Ratio may vary due to unexpected leaves
Dress Code: Professional Nursing Attire - Clean Scrubs
Orientation time provided for each unit
7 days maximum time off
2 references from last 3 years (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission
Driver’s license required
Certifications:
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course)
