Overview:

Oncology Infusion Coletta is a hospital-based Oncology Infusion Center providing care to an adult population. This is a 30-chair infusion room that specializes in oncology and outpatient IV therapy infusions in a new cancer center.This diverse unit isfast-pacedand busy, with a wide variety of patients and diagnoses to care for. We provide specialized services such as first in human clinical trials. Seeking a nurse who is enthusiastic to work for a nationally accredited Cancer Center while providing exceptional care during outpatient infusions.

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
• Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• Physical requirements/demands: Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis. Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift. Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
• Certifications:

• OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse)

• BLS (Basic Life Support) or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
• Other unit specific certifications as required or acquisition of certification within department required timeframe.
