What Will I be Doing
The Financial Analyst-Resort Operations will be Responsible for various planning and reporting processes for the Rental & Resales lines of business within the Resort Operations area.The planning responsibilities include assisting in the annual Operating Budget, Capital Expenditure Budget, monthly forecast, and flash. The reporting and analysis responsibilities incorporate monitoring and analyzing the monthly financial results, monthly reporting on Rental KPIs, executive and adhoc reporting and analysis for senior leadership, analytical support for Finance and Resort Operations. The Financial Analyst also provides the Director and other leadership ongoing / new financial reporting/adhoc analysis to support executives and determine opportunities for efficiencies and margin improvement.
Additional Responsibilities include:
- Monthly Reporting such as Club members, Club transactions, resales volume, room nights, and executive presentations
- Assist Resort Ops Business Management leaders with Operating Budget preparations; including but not limited to financial review, data entry, ad hoc financial analysis, budget presentation preparation, etc
- Assist Manager of Resort Ops Business Management with daily responsibilities, monthly close duties and forecasting tasks
- Ad hoc analysis for senior leadership focused on operational efficiencies

To fulfill this role successfully, the individual should possess the following qualifications, knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience:
- BA/BS/Bachelor’s Degree
- 2-4 years of financial analysis
- Advanced Excel, PowerPoint
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- MS/MA Master’s Degree
- 4-5 years of financial analysis
- PeopleSoft financial or similar Accounting software, Hyperion Planning systems, Cognos and Excel macros
