Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 24 months of role experience is required from last 3 months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required from last 4 years.
• Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Idaho license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Additional Details:
Guaranteed 48 hours per week
Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Primarily a Medical floor with a little surgical overflow. Respiratory, GI, anything medical that you wouldn’t do surgery on, behavioral health- if pts been in ER for more than 1 day will room up here to work on d/c plan.
Must be able to read and interpret tele. Must be willing to take students, may be precept new travelers- please note on interview they are willing.
RNs are required to read and interpret own strips.
Scheduler will schedule travelers- no block scheduling.
Weekend Requirement: 5 weekend shifts in a 6 week period- travelers are utilized to fill in gaps.
Holiday Requirement: Yes- if there is a need
Floating Requirements: Will float between MedSurg 5, MedSurg 6, and a 9 bed overflow unit. Can also go to any like units in the system- Boise Medical Center 8mi away and Nampa Medical Center- both about 8 miles away. Could also float to ER for holds or to be a 1:1.
Scrub Color/Dress Code/Scrubs provided: Any color as long as clean and professional.
How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation: 3 days of general orientation including EPIC training and meeting with educator, will also have online modules to complete prior to start of assignment. 2 shifts on unit with a preceptor.
