What you will do::

Joining QXO as a National Account Manager for the Commercial-Family Sector means becoming part of a values-driven organization. The Commercial National Account Manager is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with account customers, internal and external to the company. This position requires analysis of performance metrics, identification of opportunities, outlining and implementing an account plan, setting targets, aiding in increasing sales and profitability, and facilitating communication with each of their Regional Leaders, Branch Managers, and Sales Managers. This individual’s role will have focus in the low slope roofing and commercial construction industry with key stakeholders such as contractors, building owners, and manufacturers.

  • Develop, consistently communicate, and provide analytics to assist the field in setting a strategic plan to profitably grow commercial roofing.
  • Identify opportunities/engage in an enterprise approach with Beacon’s extensive distribution network to offer/deliver a full portfolio of building envelope products.
  • Analyze current share of wallet and opportunities to grow share by customer, align incentives and pricing.
  • Grow and maintain relationships with accounts at the headquarter level to centrally drive opportunities and prepare and support branches to locally execute.
  • Enable the creation and development of relationships, digitally, through the adaptation of multiple technology platforms.
  • Assist field leaders in identifying talent to meet the needs for future commercial expertise.
  • Meet with market leaders and loyal customers on a consistent basis to properly assess the effectiveness of the company’s strategic deployment plan.
  • Be an influential leader to all field personnel involved with growing the commercial roofing business through exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Assist field leaders by providing detailed reports that highlight wins and opportunities.
  • Maintain a network of contacts within and outside of the company.
What you will bring::
  • Relevant bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ sales experience in related field; experience in low slope roofing and commercial construction strongly preferred.
  • Proficient with a variety of exterior building products field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Possesses extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of business acumen, financials, products, and markets.
  • Ability to manage large/dynamic accounts.
  • Preferred experience utilizing business intelligence systems to manage portfolio (Salesforce and Tableau).
  • Adequate skill with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Maintains a valid driver's license.
  • Willing to travel up to 75%.
