Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 24 months of role experience is required from last 3 months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical Oncology experience is required from last 4 years.
• Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
• Trauma Level 1 experience is required from any number of months
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Mississippi license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.• Flu vaccination required after submission. Medical declinations accepted.

ONC cert not required but would love candidates with experience. Manager will teach clinician how to administer chemo.
Patient Ratio: Ratio would be adjusted down for higher acuity patients

Required:
Experience at a larger facility with a lot of surgeries/high acuity patients
Must be comfortable with lines, chest tubes, hem/onc and chemo experience - Preferred
Travelers are expected to fill holes, but managers will try to accommodate block scheduling as schedule allows
Open to weekenders if traveler would like to work every weekend but that is not required
Weekend Requirement: Every other or 2 weekends per month is standard, could be higher to meet needs of department
Holiday Requirement: Rotate in with regular staff
Call: No
Floating: Within skillset, all staff float between all medsurg units. higher acuity patients would be given to core staff
Dress Code: Scrubs - Any Color; must be solid color and professional
Orientation: First day, all paperwork and attestations, logins for Omnicell and Epic, show around unit (a few hours), discuss scheduling. 2 additional shifts with preceptor
1 reference from last 12 months (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission
1 reference from last 3 years (Any reference type) - required for submission
Driver’s license required for submission
