Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Home Health
Location: Portland, OR
Work Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Flexible, with weekends off and on-call rotation (1 weekend per month)
Territory: East Portland
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic team in providing home health services. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and be committed to delivering quality therapy services in patients' homes. Responsibilities:
Deliver physical therapy services to patients in their homes according to established treatment plans.
Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing personalized treatment plans.
Track and report patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
Educate patients and families about exercises and activities of daily living.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications:
Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program with an Associate’s degree in Science or Applied Science (required).
Current PTA licensure in the state of Oregon.
BLS CPR certification.
A valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and appropriate insurance coverage.
Excellent observation, communication, and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
Prior experience in home health or a clinical setting is preferred.

Additional Information:
Must be able to work independently and travel within a 60-mile radius of Portland, OR.
Physical requirements include the ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently, with occasional lifting of up to 100 lbs.
