Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of role experience is required from any number of months.

• 12 months of Telemetry Unit experience is required from last 4 years.

• Travel experience is required from any number of months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a West Virginia license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Previous perm staff must be gone for 2 years before they are eligible to return in a traveler capacity. No exceptions.

Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and/or terminated if policy is not followed.

If candidate worked a perm facility in the last 12 months, 1 reference must be from perm facility.

Roles requiring a state licensure only: Cannot have any licensure hits

Guaranteed Hours: 36

Rotating weekends and holidays

Block scheduling allowed as long as needs are met for the unit. Takes requests into consideration.

Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Cardiopulmonary diagnosis (CHF/Chest pain/Post Cardiac Cath patients- mostly femoral/some radial);

Age specific population: adult and geriatric

Experience: Med-Surg; Telemetry; Critical Drips required; Chemo preferred.

Floating Requirements : If not needed on 4P, would be required to float to 3P or 5P (Med-Surg) units or to the Emergency Department to care for boarded patients. Boarders are intermixed in ED.

Float pool floats first, then will be in rotation.

Scrub Color/Dress Code: RN/LPN - Navy

Unit/Department specific orientation: First day general hospital orientation; Full day of Nursing Orientation for RNs/LPNs

1 reference from last 2 years (Charge/Lead reference type) - required for submission

1 reference from last 12 months (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission

Driver’s license required for submission

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
