Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required from any number of months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience is required from last 3 years.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Inpatient RN travelers must have completed two years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in the specialty they are submitting to.
Telemetry: Traveler must have Basic Arrhythmia experience. Traveler will be required to pass Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start
Attempts: Traveler will have two attempts to pass. Passing score of 80% or higher
We take Department of Corrections patients from various DOC facilities in Wisconsin.
May have 0-10 DOC patients at any given time. Our unit includes a locked wing with double door for these DOC patients
Patient Population: Adult, Med/surg patients with variety of conditions and diagnoses under the Family Medicine service.
Geriatric Population
Experience starting IVs - Required
Floating: Travelers are the first.
The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs within the facility.
Parking: Permit required through UW Transportation if parking onsite
Other transportation options are available: bus, park & ride, private parking, etc.
RTO Requirements: Manager will review/approve during candidate review process.
Generally, all job postings will state that weekend rotations and some holidays will be required.
Orientation Schedule: UWH orientation is held every other week – typically on a Monday
Travelers will orient at 600 Highland Ave, room F8/170 (subject to change)
Orientation is typically about one week
Maximum days off: 14 days
