- Performs maintenance activities including, but not limited to, pump rebuilds, preventative maintenance, basic installations of pipe, electric work, forklift operations.
- Performs basic and intermediate level repairs and upkeep in welding, electrical, pipe fitting, mechanic, pneumatic, and hydraulic.
- Directs the activities of lower-level maintenance personnel on larger, more complex maintenance activities.
- Works independently on facility projects and maintenance.
- Operates a forklift if required and trained. Responsible for performing and documenting a daily safety check prior to operating.
- Ensures that work meets all applicable Health and Safety Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Reviews all applicable SOP’s and satisfactorily completes quizzes.
- Ensures, understands and has ownership for area specific permit required compliance standards. • Responsible for maintaining a clean work environment.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- 3 to 5 years general experience
- Basic knowledge of plant equipment and applications
- Demonstrates complete proficiency in welding
- Demonstrates complete proficiency in pipe fitting
- Demonstrates complete proficiency in mechanic work
- Demonstrates complete proficiency in electrical work
- Trade experience
- Able to navigate preventative maintenance software applications
- Forklift certified
