  • Performs maintenance activities including, but not limited to, pump rebuilds, preventative maintenance, basic installations of pipe, electric work, forklift operations.
  • Performs basic and intermediate level repairs and upkeep in welding, electrical, pipe fitting, mechanic, pneumatic, and hydraulic.
  • Directs the activities of lower-level maintenance personnel on larger, more complex maintenance activities.
  • Works independently on facility projects and maintenance.
  • Operates a forklift if required and trained. Responsible for performing and documenting a daily safety check prior to operating.
  • Ensures that work meets all applicable Health and Safety Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Reviews all applicable SOP’s and satisfactorily completes quizzes.
  • Ensures, understands and has ownership for area specific permit required compliance standards. • Responsible for maintaining a clean work environment.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3 to 5 years general experience
  • Basic knowledge of plant equipment and applications
  • Demonstrates complete proficiency in welding
  • Demonstrates complete proficiency in pipe fitting
  • Demonstrates complete proficiency in mechanic work
  • Demonstrates complete proficiency in electrical work
  • Trade experience
  • Able to navigate preventative maintenance software applications
  • Forklift certified
