The Electrified Powertrain Controls Engineer will lead the development of supervisory energy management algorithms and strategies for the next generation of Stellantis electrified vehicle programs. The ideal candidate is a strong team player who can comfortably perform a cross-functional role, interfacing with multiple disciplines of vehicle engineering and several stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
The responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
- Interfacing with various stakeholders across the functional areas pertinent to high voltage energy management to contribute to the definition of high voltage energy management concepts and functions
- Contributing to the definition of subsystem functional objectives and requirements for high voltage charging and high voltage energy management
- Designing control strategies based on subsystem functional requirements
- Performing verification and validation of control algorithms against functional requirements employing methods of model-in-the -loop, hardware-in-the-loop, subsystem test and vehicle test
- Leading subsystem simulation activities to support development of control algorithms
