The PlantWellbeing,Healthand Safety (WHS) – Safety Professional positionis responsible to implement and administer standardizedWHS processes to ensurecompliance to Federal, State, Provincial and Local regulations and Corporate Policies and Procedures. This position will help achieve world class status and impact corporate savings through the elimination of occupational injuries/illnesses, property damage and improvement of production efficiency as well as safeguarding the health and safety of all employees. This specific position will focus on health and safety compliance,StellantisProduction Way(SPW) safety activities, Safety Management System, and health and safety improvement goals.

TheWHS – Safety Professional position will report to the PlantWHS Lead andbe responsible forand not limited to:

  • ImplementWHS training programs and training assessments to ensure required training isidentifiedand conducted.
  • Conduct regular audits ofWHS processes and necessaryfollow-upto ensure compliance andadviseplant leadership and corporateWHS staff of findings.
  • Analyze injury/illness experience including ergonomics, identify/track injury correlation,determineroot causes, implement correctiveactionand communicate this information to plant leadership and corporateWHS.
  • Support new equipment programs at the concept stage to ensure thatWHS design specifications and regulations are included.
  • Manage routine safety reports including data acquisition, documentation, record keeping, monitoring, review, and approval.
  • Coordinate communication ofWHS regulatory inspection activity with plant leadership.
  • LeadWHS projects to improveWHS key performance metrics.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of the plant’s safety management system andSPW safetyrequirements.
