Our client is seeking aSr. Technical Manager to join their team. TheSenior Technical Manager is responsible for the manufacturing requirements for project priorities; engineering capitalbudget planning and spending; developing and meeting departmental and project budgets; employee relations; and continuous improvement efforts.

What’s the Job
- Responsible to provide communication and reporting of their Department progress/results in achieving divisionalgoals; and the regular operation of the department.
- Oversees the implementation, and follow-up of the Advance Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities of theEngineering department in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Leads the Engineering department to coordinate engineering launch activities and manage implementation ofengineering initiatives for on-going engineering changes for existing customer programs.
- Leads the engineering team in support of both new and existing customer programs and plant layout.
What’s Needed
- Degree in Engineering
- 5 – 8 years of experience in a managerial role.
- program management experience required (or significant project managementexperience or leadership/management experience may be considered), a certificate or diploma in ProjectManagement is preferred.
- Strong understanding of assembly processes, APQP, PDP (CPMP), PPAP, GD&T, ergonomics, engineeringpractices, production experience, and other automotive related activities.
