- Portneuf Medical Center is a nationally recognized healthcare leader with 205 beds, serving as the region's tertiary care and Level II Trauma Center, housing the Portneuf Heart and Vascular Institute, Portneuf Cancer Center, Portneuf Medical Group, and Portneuf Air Rescue.
Responsibilities- Under the supervision of the Radiologist and Director of Radiology, perform quality CT scans and as needed radiography, while applying both radiation and physical safety measures
- Maintain a high degree of accuracy in contrast administration, positioning and exposure technique
- Remain sensitive to the physical and emotional needs of the patient through good communication, patient assessment, patient monitoring, and patient care skills
- Use independent, professional, ethical judgment and critical thinking
QualificationsJob Requirements:
- Certification and current registration for Registered Technologist (R.T.) from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Graduation from or currently enrolled in an accreditedCT training certificate program or school.
- Must hold or obtain current licensure as RT(R)(CT) with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist within one year of hire.
- Must have BLS certification
