We’re excited to introduce a new and highly visible role at LSG Sky Chefs, Employee Experience Manager, that will play a pivotal part in shaping how our team members experience work from day one and throughout their careers. This position is key to building a strong, people-centered culture and delivering a consistent, positive onboarding journey and workplace experience for our diverse team.
As the Employee Experience Manager, you’ll serve as the voice of our employees, partnering closely with Field Operations and HR to surface insights, champion engagement, and drive initiatives that foster connection, growth, and retention. You’ll work on-site in our Customer Operations Service Center, which services our client, American Airlines, and will maintain a strong presence on the production floor to stay closely connected with frontline staff.
- Work Location: onsite LSG Sky Chefs on the grounds of DFW International Airport
- Work Schedule: Monday through Friday but must be flexible to work additional hours or days as needed outside the standard schedule including nights and weekends
- Develop and implement employee engagement programs focused on onboarding and long-term engagement / retention
- Design and execute employee experience initiatives such as focus groups and surveys
- Effectively introduce and present programs to leadership and cross-functional departments to ensure alignment and support prior to implementation
- Collaborate with local operations leaders and corporate teams to embed employee experience into daily processes and communication strategies
- Launch and manage the “Buddy” onboarding program across departments, ensuring compliance and effectiveness
- Conduct weekly check-ins with new hires to evaluate onboarding, address concerns, and gather feedback
- Facilitate weekly Internal Feedback Loop (IFBL) meetings to review orientation feedback and drive continuous improvement
- Track and report weekly KPIs via the Employee Engagement Scorecard, sharing trends and insights with senior leadership
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of experience in human resources, employee engagement, or talent acquisition (aviation, hospitality, or high-volume operations experience preferred)
- Experienced in supporting and engaging a large, diverse, and predominantly operations-focused workforce
- Highly skilled in developing impactful presentations and delivering them effectively to diverse audiences
- Strong influential leadership and project management abilities; capable of driving initiatives from concept to execution
- Collaborative, people-first mindset with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Agility to adapt to shifting priorities and evolving business needs
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Comfortable working in a light production or service-focused environment
