Epic Travel Staffing is hiring aTravel RN - PCU/Peds
Shift:Nights / 7p-7a, 12x3, 36hrs per week
Length: 13 weeks
Weekend Requirements:Generally every 3rd weekend but may bemore based on need- they just ask for flexibility
Holiday Requirements: Every 3rd holiday- please expect to work one of the winter holidays
Requirements:
- NE RN License
- 2 years experience
- Must have Peds and Adult Experience
- Experience: Chest tubes, identify arrhythmias, cardioversions, TEEs, post heart cath patients, defibrillator, pain management, PPE
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- NIHSS
Other details:
- Floating Requirements: Yes, occasionally to MedSurg with a fullassignment
- Required to titrate drips
- # Beds: 27- 2 rooms can be double but generally kept private
- Nurse : Patient Ratios: 1:3-5
- Common diagnoses/Types of patients: CHF, respiratory failure,Afib, DKA, GI Bleeds, dementia, AKI, suicidal, PEs, pneumonia, influenza, COVID
