Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 24 months of role experience is required from any number of months.
• 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience is required from last 6 months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

ER float positions will require floating between different ER satellite locations in the area. A home base facility will try to be established, however this may not be the facility the clinician is regularly at. A schedule will be made in advance, so clinicians is aware of what location they’ll be reporting to.
This is a Tele position, requiring Tele skills.
Guaranteed hours: 36
Travelers will need to pass a dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of receiving offer, through RELIAS, only (with 2 max attempts).
There is also a Pass/Fail SIM Lab on day one of orientation (study guides will be provided with first day instructions.)
Common diagnoses/Types of patients ED holds waiting for placement on a unit, primarily MS/Tele
Experience: Must have a strong cardiac tele background, preferably 2 years. Must be able to decrease cardiac drips per physicians’ orders and parameters. Nurses will be caring for more tele patients VS medical.
RNs are required to titrate drips.
Common titratable &/or set rate drips Cardizem, Heparin, Amiodarone
Shifts & Scheduling: Ability to self-schedule; however this could change from time to time.
Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts in a 4 week schedule.
Holiday Requirement: Rotate in with the perm staff
Call or standby requirement: No call required
Floating Requirements Would float to med/surg/tele/overflow units and CRMC/MGMC Eds as needed.
Scrub Color/Dress: Code Navy
Unit/Department specific orientation: 2 shifts orientation to Med/Surg/Tele at primary campus.
Additional Notes: Will be caring for patients from the ER who are waiting on a bed in the hospital.
Additional Questions: May be asked to help with ED patients including vitals, IV starts and medication administration. Will not be asked to be primary RN for ED patient assignment.
