We are looking for talented engineers with backgrounds in Electrical and Computer Engineering for such roles as Vehicle Systems Engineering, Electrical Design and Release, High Voltage Wire Harness Design and Packaging, Embedded Software Development and Algorithm Research, AUTOSAR Model Based System Design, Validation, Hardware in the Loop Integration, Functional Safety, Vehicle Triage, SWAT and Launch Support, etc.

Summary:

Drive quality improvement and assist Ford Motor Company’s Automotive Safety Office (ASO) with data trend analysis, vehicle safety investigations, and process development. Review Technical Service Bulletins (TSB), Special Service Messages (SSM) and Over the Air (OTA) update documentation and facilitate reviews prior to government agency reporting.

What you will be able to do:

· Monitor and analyze daily reports from customers and dealers to identify potential safety concerns.

· Prepare technical and non-technical documentation

· Support Automotive Safety Office in responding to government inquiries with data and technical analysis.

· Interface with Global Data Insight & Analytics (GDI&A) for failure rate projections and investigation support.

· Review Technical Service Bulletins (TSB), Special Service Messages (SSM) and Over the Air (OTA) and facilitate Automotive System Office reviews.

· Facilitate reviews and development and documentation of processes, procedures and training

Basic Qualifications:

· Bachelor of Science in Engineering or data analytics experience preferred

· Strong data analysis, problem solving and organizational skills, including strong Excel skills

· Quality or warranty data analysis experience preferred.

· A working knowledge of vehicle systems

· Ability to work efficiently and independently to achieve known deadlines and manage multiple tasks

· Strong strategic thinking and analytical problem-solving skills.

· Procedure development and implementation skills are preferred.

· Experience with Ford product development or manufacturing processes.

· Ability to interface effectively with diverse, cross-functional organizations and global teams.

· Effective oral communication and strong technical writing skills
