Sr. Quality Engineer

What you will do:

Responsible to develop and improve quality system effectively implementing improvements to the quality manual and procedures that affect the quality system. Adapting the quality system to meet ISO 9001 standards and JCMS / Quality Total requirements.

How you will do it:

• Participate in risk management, which includes the identification of failure modes, hazards and environmental aspects, their respective assessment and the definition and implementation of controls.
• Participate in incident and nonconformity investigations as well as in the determination of the necessary corrective actions.
• Active participation in plant programs such as SafeTrack observations, suggestion box, Employee Idea System, LPA and 6S audits.
• Participate in the training program of the plant attending trainings as scheduled and, when required, acting as internal instructor.
• Comply with the documented procedures, instructions, and standards of the Integrated Management System and, when required,participate in their review and improvement.
• Identify and report any injury or potential injury and any potential environmental impact.
• Identify and intervene to correct unsafe acts and recognize safe behavior
• Identify and intervene to correct unsafe and off standard conditions, when immediate correction is not possible report to direct manager or to the corresponding department.
• Review and prevent the consequences of all actions before any activity and apply the Stop Work policy when needed.
• Perform every activity considering the requirements of the Integrated Management System to contribute to the achievement of its objectives and to fulfill the Quality Policy and the Environmental, Health and Safety Policy.

What we look for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Mechanicals, Industrial, Electromechanical or similar.
• Exetensive knowledge in statical Quality control, Experiments design, manufacturing, methods and procedures, TQC (Total Quality
• Control), JIT (Just InTime and their applications to eliminate causes, presenting technical information skills, leadership, troubleshooting tolos.
• Excellent mathematical ability and statistical methods and data analysis knowledges.
• Microsoft office proefficient.
• Minitab and Project managment knwoledges
• At least 8 years experience in manufacturing process. Experience may have been gained in JCI Reynosa or another company. In the absence of education requirement, is required to have mnimum 5 years experience in mfg reas.
• Direct communication with production supervisors of non-conformances raw materiak, process and/or final Audit.
• Ensure process documentation is reviewed during the analysis and solution of reported failures in the process, by te costumer or as a resulto of an Audits.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Ability to coach and mentor quality engineers and technicians.
