Definition:To perform skilled work operating one of several types of light to heavy equipment used to excavate, load, transfer of move dirt, gravel, or other material in the maintenance or construction of parks, streets, and other public properties. Reports vehicle or equipment or problems to supervisor. Assists in the maintenance painting and repair of street and school crossing. Performs other related duties and responsibilities as required.
