Smith Personnel is hiring an experienced Label Machine Operator for a food manufacturing facility!
Job Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor label machines to ensure proper operation.
- Perform machine changeovers as needed.
- Ensure correct product labels, codes, and case labels are used according to production orders.
- Monitor glue levels and refill as needed.
- Operate a forklift to move completed pallets.
- Troubleshoot minor machine issues and report equipment problems.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and food safety guidelines.
- Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas after production.
- Perform additional duties assigned by the Production Supervisor.
Location: Fort Worth, TX
Pay: $16.00 per hour
Schedule: Tuesday – Thursday | 6:00 AM – Finish (approximately 12-hour shifts)
Job Requirements
Previous machine operator experience preferred.
Forklift training and certification required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled facility.
Strong attention to detail and safety procedures.
Dependable transportation and reliable attendance.
Must be able to work the required schedule.
