Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Press Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will operate production press machinery, monitor product quality, and ensure production goals are met while following all safety guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor press machinery to produce parts according to specifications.
- Load and unload materials into press machines.
- Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and defects.
- Follow production schedules and meet daily output goals.
- Perform basic machine adjustments and routine maintenance as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Report equipment issues or quality concerns to the supervisor.
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing or press operator experience preferred.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to lift materials as required for the position.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Work Environment
This position is in a manufacturing facility and may involve exposure to noise, moving machinery, and repetitive production tasks. Required safety equipment will be provided as applicable.
