Conducting Safety Analyses and documenting results (Preliminary Hazards Analysis, System Hazard Analysis, Hazard Tracking, Functional Hazard, Fault Tree, and Safety Assessments)
Generation of Hazard Reports
Assist with the definition and maintenance of system level control strategies, including Fault Detection, Isolation and Recovery (FDIR) strategies, hazardous mitigation, and system
Participate in and support the System Safety Working Groups, Safety Review Panels, Technical Interchange and Change Review Board meetings
Coordinating with verification and validation (V&V) personnel to ensure safety-critical requirements are tested at an acceptable level of rigor
Perform anomaly and nonconformance analysis, tracking and resolution verification
Develop S&MA reports/presentations to S&MA and program leadership
Provide support to all Axiom programs as required
Other duties as assigned
Communicating project progress, status, and potential issues to stakeholders and leadership
Implementing and maintaining agile project management methodologies throughout the project lifecycle
Perform additional job duties as assigned
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree, 2+ years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience developing and reviewing hazard analyses, fault trees, and safety assessments
Analyzing and evaluating flight systems to identify hazards and propose actions to mitigate hazards
Planning, performing analyses, and reporting results
