THE OPPORTUNITY:
Our team works in partnership with (railroad/facility) to safely unload newly manufactured automobiles arriving by rail from manufacturing plants and ships.
In this hands-on position, your responsibilities will include:
- Safely loading and unloading vehicles from or onto railroad railcars.
- Driving and parking vehicles in accordance with AAR (Association of American Railroads) standards.
- Properly positioning vehicles in designated parking areas.
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Working with your teammates to meet daily operational goals.
- Developing hands-on experience in transportation, logistics, railroad operations, and automotive services.
Every shift gives you the opportunity to build your skills, take on responsibility, and contribute to moving vehicles across the country.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: We are looking for reliable team members who are ready to work, learn, and grow.
Ideal candidates:
- Are 18 years of age or older.
- Meet the company’s hiring requirements, including having no felony convictions within the past 7 years.
- Are comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions, including snow, rain, heat, and cold.
- Have flexible availability, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Are comfortable working at heights.
- Can lift 50 pounds or more.
- Have reliable transportation to and from work.
- Are dependable, punctual, and committed to safety.
- Have a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to quality.
- Can communicate and work effectively as part of a team.
- Are eager to learn new skills and take advantage of professional growth opportunities.
