Pay: $90k-$100k/yr+
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in a related field with 2-3 years of equivalent experience, or 5-7 years of progressive purchasing/procurement experience.
- Demonstrated experience managing procurement, vendor relationships, and inventory control.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable pricing and contract terms.
- Experience analyzing purchasing data, costs, and inventory levels to support business decisions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Manufacturing, printing, packaging, or Point-of-Purchase (POP) display industry experience preferred.
- Experience with strategic sourcing, supplier performance management, contract administration, inventory planning, forecasting, and supply chain risk management preferred.
Responsibilities:- Lead procurement operations to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, supplies, services, and equipment.
- Manage vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and supplier performance to maintain quality, pricing, and reliable supply.
- Oversee inventory control and purchasing costs while identifying opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements.
- Monitor supplier performance and proactively address supply chain risks that could impact production.
- Partner closely with Production, Scheduling, Sales, and Finance to support manufacturing and business needs.
- Analyze purchasing data, inventory levels, costs, and forecasts to support informed business decisions.
- Lead purchasing process improvements, strategic sourcing initiatives, and cost-saving efforts to improve overall procurement efficiency.
