Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Technician with a strong background in low-voltage systems, including Audio Visual, Access Control, CCTV, and Structured Cabling. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience, attention to detail, and the ability to take initiative in leading small-to-medium projects as needed.
Minimum Requirements
· 2+ years of verified experience in at least two of the following fields:
· • Audio Visual systems
· • Access Control systems
· • CCTV (Security Camera) systems
· • Structured Cabling (Cat6, Fiber, Coax, etc.)
· Working knowledge of or experience with systems such as: Crestron, Logitech, Neat, Yealink, Brivo, Avigilon, Rhombus, HID (preferred)
· Valid Texas driver’s license and reliable transportation
· Ability to pass a background check and drug test as required
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
· Install, terminate, and test structured cabling and low-voltage systems
· Mount, configure, and service A/V, CCTV, and access control equipment
· Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and system schematics
· Work independently or as part of a team to complete assigned projects
· Ensure all installations meet NDS quality and safety standards
· Communicate effectively with project managers, customers, and team members
· Maintain company-provided tools and vehicle in good working condition
· Lead small crews or assist in training newer technicians when needed
Physical & Working Conditions
· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
· Must be able to climb ladders and work at heights
· Work environments may include indoor offices, outdoor sites, construction areas, and active job sites
· Must be able to work in various environmental conditions, including dust, noise, bright/dim lighting, and tight spaces
