Field Operations Manager

1. The Field Operations Manager reports directly to the president.
2. Salary position with expected minimum working hours Monday through Friday 7 AM to 4 PM, with a 1-hour lunch break; 40-45 hours weekly.
3. Hire and terminate field employees.
4. Responsible for ensuring field employees follow company safety policies.
5. Schedules HVAC inspections.
6. Creates a field project folder containing the submittals, schedule, & purchase orders (POs).
7. Holds a project kickoff meeting with the foreman, salesman, estimator, and project manager (PM).
8. Oversee and coordinates field installers and service technicians.
9. Conducts regular performance evaluations and training sessions.
10. Fosters a positive work environment and promotes teamwork.
11. Manages HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair projects from inception to completion.
12. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet company quality standards.
13. Reviews project profitability reports weekly to manage costs and labor hours.
14. Monitors employee turnover rate and retention.
15. Perform regular site visits.
16. Assist the Superintendent in measuring ductwork and piping for material orders on the project.
