The CML Driver plays a critical role in ensuring our restaurants receive fresh, high-quality products safely and on time.

Position Summary

The CML Driver is responsible for transporting dough and other food products from the central production facility to assigned restaurant locations. This role ensures timely, accurate, and safe delivery while maintaining product quality and complying with all food safety and transportation regulations.

This is a hands-on, non-exempt position requiring safe vehicle operation and physical handling of products.

In this role, you will:

• Safely operate a company vehicle to deliver products to assigned restaurant locations
• Load, transport, and unload dough and food products accurately and efficiently
• Ensure timely delivery schedules are met in accordance with operational needs
• Verify delivery quantities and maintain accurate documentation
• Maintain proper food safety standards, including temperature control and product handling
• Follow all applicable traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures
• Inspect vehicle condition and report maintenance or safety concerns
• Assist with loading and staging products at the production facility
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles and work areas
• Communicate effectively with team members and store teams regarding deliveries

Preferred Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Previous delivery or route driving experience preferred
• Ability to operate delivery vehicles safely and responsibly
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Reliable, punctual, and accountable
• Ability to work early mornings, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed

Compensation

Pay Range: $12.00 per hour – $12.50 per hour

Actual compensation will vary based on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, location, and business needs.

This position is classified as non-exempt and is eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to perform the following, with or without reasonable accommodation:

• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
• Load and unload products from delivery vehicles
• Stand, walk, bend, and reach frequently
• Enter and exit delivery vehicles multiple times per shift
• Work in varying weather conditions and environments

Work Environment

This role operates in both production and delivery environments, including time spent driving, loading/unloading products, and working in changing weather conditions. Team members must follow all safety procedures and use appropriate protective equipment.
