- HSES Culture: Foster a collaborative safety, quality, and security culture across all tender and project phases by adopting correct HSES & Q behaviors and leading by example.
- Tenders & FEED Leadership: Lead installation engineering tendering and FEED activities, coordinating between VSO and Non-VSO execution streams. Responsibilities include ITT reviews, CTR development, scheduling, method statements, MDRs, risk registers, material lists, and technical clarifications.
- Contract & Interface Management: Interpret main contracts, identify variations, communicate effectively with clients, and manage installation engineering queries and interface requests.
- Schedule Alignment: Own the Installation Engineering schedule, working closely with planners to ensure seamless updates and aligned execution streams.
- Technical & Operational Reviews: Lead and coordinate Engineering and Operational Reviews (including constructability, risk assessments, and Readiness reviews) as an independent technical focal point.
- Procurement Support: Partner with Package Engineers and Global Sourcing & Procurement to develop installation-related procurement plans, appointing resources for RFQ/ITB technical inputs and bid evaluations for temporary installation aids and equipment.
- Team Mentorship: Support the Installation Engineering Manager with team development, check-ins, goal-setting, training, coaching, and mentoring.
- On-Site & Offshore Supervision: Provide expert installation engineering supervision and technical support for manufacturing, fabrication, SIT, and shorebase worksites. Work offshore as the primary client interface, ensuring operations strictly follow procedures and preparing essential documentation (project briefings, dive/task plans, MOCs, lift plans, etc.).
