Job Title - CustomerService Representative
Location - Austin, TX, 78727-Onsite Role
Duration - 06 - 07 Months (Extension or Conversion on the Basis of Performance)
Pay Range -($18 - $20) on an hourly basis
About:
- We are seeking a Customer Service Representative with a healthcare or medical background to support Medicaid providers and clients.
- In this role, you will handle high-volume inbound calls, assist with questions related to eligibility, medical claims, and Medicaid program information, resolve issues when possible, and ensure every customer interaction is accurately documented.
Responsibilities:
- Provide prompt, courteous, and accurate assistance to Medicaid providers and clients.
- Respond to inquiries related to Medicaid eligibility, medical claims status, and program-related questions.
- Research and assist with resolving customer issues as needed.
- Handle a high volume of inbound calls while maintaining quality and professionalism.
- Document all customer interactions accurately and concisely in online systems/logs.
- Transfer callers to the appropriate Call Center unit when additional assistance is required.
- Meet established individual performance, productivity, quality, and attendance standards.
- Maintain strict adherence to required attendance and performance metrics.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 6 months of recent contact center/call center experience in a verifiable high-volume call center environment.
- Healthcare, medical, Medicaid, insurance, claims, or healthcare customer service experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle high call volumes while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
- Ability to work any assigned 8-hour shift between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in a medical, healthcare, Medicaid, insurance, or claims environment.
- MSOffice experience.
- Experience working with customer service or healthcare-related computer systems.
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
