Job Title - CustomerService Representative
Location - Austin, TX, 78727-Onsite Role
Duration - 06 - 07 Months (Extension or Conversion on the Basis of Performance)
Pay Range -($18 - $20) on an hourly basis

About:

  • We are seeking a Customer Service Representative with a healthcare or medical background to support Medicaid providers and clients.
  • In this role, you will handle high-volume inbound calls, assist with questions related to eligibility, medical claims, and Medicaid program information, resolve issues when possible, and ensure every customer interaction is accurately documented.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide prompt, courteous, and accurate assistance to Medicaid providers and clients.
  • Respond to inquiries related to Medicaid eligibility, medical claims status, and program-related questions.
  • Research and assist with resolving customer issues as needed.
  • Handle a high volume of inbound calls while maintaining quality and professionalism.
  • Document all customer interactions accurately and concisely in online systems/logs.
  • Transfer callers to the appropriate Call Center unit when additional assistance is required.
  • Meet established individual performance, productivity, quality, and attendance standards.
  • Maintain strict adherence to required attendance and performance metrics.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6 months of recent contact center/call center experience in a verifiable high-volume call center environment.
  • Healthcare, medical, Medicaid, insurance, claims, or healthcare customer service experience is strongly preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle high call volumes while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
  • Ability to work any assigned 8-hour shift between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in a medical, healthcare, Medicaid, insurance, or claims environment.
  • MSOffice experience.
  • Experience working with customer service or healthcare-related computer systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
