Job Description

HireQuest Austin is hiring reliable and hardworking Seasonal Event Stadium Cleaners to help maintain cleanliness and general upkeep at an assigned area within an arena, sports stadium, convention center, or other entertainment venue.

Assigned areas may include restrooms, suites, concourses, common areas, and other guest-facing spaces. Cleaners must be flexible and willing to complete a variety of tasks as assigned. Duties may include cleaning common areas, restrooms, private or VIP suites, emptying trash receptacles, cleaning bodily fluids, and assisting guests with directions within the complex.

Pay: $16.00 per hour, paid weekly

Location: 2515 Speedway, Austin, TX 78712

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and general upkeep of assigned areas.
• Clean restrooms, suites, concourses, common areas, and other areas throughout the venue.
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly.
• Clean and dust furniture, fixtures, floors, ceilings, walls, machines, and equipment.
• Clean interior partition glass, windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaning products and equipment.
• Move cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates, and equipment as needed to clean assigned areas.
• Clean bodily fluids and other spills as required.
• Assist guests with directions and general questions within the facility.
• Notify management of the need for minor or major repairs or maintenance.
• Follow all safety, security, and quality standards and procedures.
• Maintain effective communication with supervisors, coworkers, clients, and venue staff.
• Complete other cleaning and event-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No prior cleaning experience required; training provided.
• No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required.
• Customer service experience is a plus.
• Previous cleaning or similar work experience is preferred.
• Must be dependable, flexible, and able to work in a busy event environment.
