Job Title: Lead EPMS Engineer
Job Description
The Lead EPMS Engineer serves as the technical lead for Electrical Power Monitoring System (EPMS) and SCADA integration for modular data center skid systems. In this role, you program, configure, and troubleshoot Ignition SCADA and EPMS systems, ensuring reliable communication between field devices and monitoring platforms. You support factory and site testing, commissioning, and system turnover, while mentoring junior team members and collaborating closely with cross-functional commissioning teams on complex, high-impact projects in critical facility environments.

Work Environment
This role supports a 5-month project based in Michigan, working primarily in a manufacturing facility where modular data center skids are built and prepared for deployment to mission-critical sites. The typical schedule consists of five 8-hour workdays per week, with the potential for overtime that may vary week to week based on project needs. You will work closely with experienced engineers, commissioning teams, electricians, and controls technicians, using leading EPMS, automation, SCADA, and power monitoring technologies on complex, high-impact projects. The environment is fast-paced and focused on safety, quality, and reliability, with a strong emphasis on collaboration, technical excellence, and delivering robust solutions for critical facility customers. A daily per diem is available for this project-based assignment.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Houston, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $65.00 - $75.00/hr.
