What You’ll Do:
- Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements
- Set stops or guides to specified length as indicated by scale, rule, or template
- Positions workpiece against stops or aligns layout marks with die or blade
- Pushes button or depresses pedal to activate machine
- Observes machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunction
- Measures workpiece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation
- Removes burrs, sharp edges, rust, or scale from workpiece
- Performs minor machine maintenance such as oiling machines, dies, or workpieces
- Stack, mark, pack, and transport finished workpieces
- Cleans work area, machines, tools and equipment. Performs other routine duties
- Operates sit-down or standup forklift to move materials throughout the warehouse
What We’re Looking For:
- Reliability & Consistency - This role depends on showing up, doing repetitive tasks accurately, and maintaining steady output without sacrificing quality
- Must have mechanical aptitude and basic math skills
- The job may involve standing, lifting and moving materials throughout a shift
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to50lbs. and work on your feet for extended periods
- Positive attitude and a willingness to learn
- Must be comfortable using computers
- Great tenure at prior roles
