Furniture & Appliance Delivery Driver / Helper

Job Overview

Express Luxus Group LLC is seeking dependable and professional Furniture & Appliance Delivery Drivers and Helpers to support last-mile delivery operations throughout the Austin area.

Team members will work in 2-person delivery teams completing residential and commercial deliveries using 26-ft box trucks with liftgates. Deliveries primarily include furniture, appliances, fitness equipment, and other large household goods.

This is a physically active, customer-facing position that requires safe product handling, attention to detail, and professional service inside customers' homes and businesses.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled furniture and appliance delivery routes
• Safely operate or assist with a 26-ft box truck with liftgate
• Load, unload, carry, and place furniture and appliances
• Perform in-home placement and basic furniture assembly
• Perform basic appliance installation and hookup when required
• Use furniture/appliance dollies, hand trucks, moving blankets, straps, and basic hand tools
• Protect products, flooring, walls, doors, and customer property during delivery
• Inspect products for damage and report discrepancies
• Complete delivery photos, signatures, and proof-of-delivery documentation
• Communicate delays, damages, customer concerns, and delivery status to dispatch
• Maintain a clean and organized truck and delivery equipment
• Provide professional and courteous customer service
• Follow company, customer, DOT, and safety requirements

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ for Driver positions
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record for Drivers
• Ability to pass required criminal background check, MVR review, and drug screening
• Ability to safely lift and maneuver 75+ lbs repeatedly
• Comfortable moving large furniture and appliances as part of a 2-person team
• Ability to use basic hand tools
• Reliable transportation to the assigned hub
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Strong communication and customer-service skills

Preferred Experience

Previous experience in furniture delivery, appliance delivery/installation, white-glove delivery, moving/household goods, final-mile delivery, furniture assembly, or 26-ft box truck operation is strongly preferred.

Appliance installation experience is highly preferred for team members assigned to appliance routes.

Work Environment

This is a physically demanding position involving frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, stair carries, furniture assembly, appliance handling, and maneuvering large products through residential and commercial spaces.
