DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide frontline technical support to end users across assigned facilities.
The Helpdesk Technician serves as the primary IT point of contact for their designated building(s), responding to support requests through the company's chat platform, phone, and in-person.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues on desktops, laptops, and other end-user devices.
- Install and remove applications with supervisor approval.
- Assist with account access, password resets, and permission changes.
- Set up and decommission workstations.
- Coordinate user moves and equipment relocation.
- Run and manage network and peripheral cabling.
- Install and maintain printers, copiers, scanners, and other peripherals.
- Set up and troubleshoot conference room AV equipment including displays, video conferencing systems, projectors, cameras, and audio devices.
- Report internet and phone outages to providers and follow up to resolution.
- Perform basic network troubleshooting including switch ports, patch panels, Wi-Fi, and desk phones.
- Maintain accurate IT asset inventory for the assigned building.
- Apply OS and software updates per department schedules.
- Report security incidents and policy violations to the immediate supervisor.
- Assist with IT projects including office expansions and technology refreshes.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- A+ Certified or equivalent
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred
