Flatbed OTR Company Driver Location: Based out of Houston, TX – mostly southern routes
Employment Type: Full-time, W-2 OR 1099 Company Driver
About the Job
We’re a family-owned trucking company looking for solid Flatbed Drivers to join our team. You’ll haul good flatbed freight on mostly southern routes out of Houston in a company truck no payments, no fuel costs, no ownership headaches. We take care of the truck, insurance, maintenance, and fuel so you can just drive.
This is a real company-driver position with competitive flatbed pay and two schedule options. Both are set up so your average time on the road and time off each month feel a lot like a regular 9-to-5 (roughly 20–22 working days and 8–10 full days off). Hours are always flexible and based on what works for you, within reasonable limits and HOS rules. We talk it through and make it fit.
Pay is $0.55 – $0.79 per mile (route miles) depending on experience and the schedule option you choose Most drivers average 2,400–2,800 miles a week when they’re running
Weekly pay usually lands in a solid range for productive drivers
Extra pay for detention

Equipment
You’ll be in a 2020 Peterbilt 529 with a converter. No APU.

What You’ll Do
Drive a company flatbed safely and professionally
Secure and tarp loads the right way
Do your pre- and post-trips and keep the ELD clean
Stay in touch with dispatch and handle shippers/receivers with respect
Get the freight there on time while following the rules
What We’re Looking For
Valid Class A CDL and clean MVR
Minimum 2 years of experience (3 years and up preferred) in the relevant trucking industry (OTR experience preferred) Comfortable tarping and securing loads
Pass a DOT physical, drug screen, and background check
Reliable, safety-minded, and easy to work with
