Education Aide

Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM–3:30 PM

Best Point Education & Behavioral Health is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and student-focused Education Aideto join our educational team and provide meaningful support to students with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs.

As an Education Aide, you'll work alongside teachers and multidisciplinary professionals to create astructured, supportive, and engaging classroom environmentwhere students can learn and grow. You'll provide individualized and small-group support, assist with classroom instruction and behavior strategies, and help students develop the skills they need to succeed both academically and personally.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree from an accredited college or university, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience working with children, particularly children with behavioral challenges, preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, organization, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional when responding to challenging behaviors.
  • Commitment to creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for students.

Compensation & Benefits

Education-Based Pay

Your education and experience are valued at Best Point, with opportunities to increase your earning potential as your education advances:

  • Associate's degree:Starting at$18.00/hour, with additional compensation based on experience
  • Bachelor's degree:Starting at$19.50/hour, with additional compensation based on experience
  • Master's degree:Starting at$21.00/hour, with additional compensation based on experience

Key Responsibilities

Student Support & Classroom Engagement

  • Assist teachers with implementing lesson plans, classroom expectations, and structured teaching strategies.
  • Support students in developing academic, social-emotional, behavioral, and independent living skills.
  • Promote age-appropriate social skills, self-care, problem-solving, coping skills, and emotional regulation.
