Diversified Sourcing Solutions is seeking reliable and hardworking warehouse associates to join the production team of one of our valued clients in Northwest Houston. This is a physically demanding role that involves assembling ventilation components using rivet guns and preparing finished products for shipment by building crates with nail guns. The ideal candidate will be safety-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble metal ventilation parts and components using hand tools and pneumatic rivet guns
Read and interpret basic blueprints or work instructions to ensure proper assembly
Prepare products for shipping by constructing crates and packaging using nail guns and hand tools
Handle raw materials and finished goods safely and efficiently
Perform quality checks during and after assembly to ensure products meet specifications
Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including PPE usage and proper tool handling
Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the shift
Assist in moving materials or products as needed across the department
Qualifications:
Required:
Experience using rivet guns, nail guns, or other pneumatic tools in an assembly or construction setting
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday
Comfortable with standing, bending, lifting, and manual work in a manufacturing environment
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work both independently and as part of a team
Strong work ethic and commitment to safety and quality
Preferred:
Previous experience in metal fabrication, HVAC component assembly, or similar industrial environment
Basic understanding of measurements and hand tools (e.g., tape measure, drills, saws)
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs on a frequent basis
Regularly required to stand, kneel, crouch, bend, and climb ladders or steps
Work is performed in a production environment with exposure to noise, dust, and moving equipment
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, safety glasses, and ear protection is required
Hourly Pay: $15.00
