Salary Range: $72,000- $85,000
Position Overview
We are seeking a Maintenance Systems & Data Analyst to support maintenance operations through data analysis, reporting, KPI development, and optimization of maintenance systems. This individual will work heavily within SAP and Maximo and use tools such as Power BI, SQL, and Excel to improve maintenance performance, reporting, forecasting, and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and optimize SAP and Maximo for maintenance and asset management activities
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and maintenance KPIs
- Analyze maintenance data including asset downtime, MTBF, preventive maintenance compliance, costs, labor utilization, and backlog
- Build and maintain data models and support ETL/data transformation processes
- Analyze data using SQL, Excel, Power Query, and DAX
- Develop preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance plans and schedules
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of asset and maintenance data within CMMS/EAM systems
- Automate recurring reporting and identify opportunities to improve maintenance performance
- Support forecasting of manpower, parts, costs, and other maintenance resources
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Maximo, Power BI, and maintenance reporting
- Partner with maintenance leadership to identify trends and provide data-driven recommendations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Maritime Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of experience supporting maintenance systems, terminal equipment, or similar asset-intensive operations
- Hands-on experience with both SAP and Maximo required
- Strong experience with Power BI, SQL, and Excel
- Experience developing maintenance dashboards and KPIs
- Knowledge of CMMS/EAM systems and maintenance planning processes
- Experience with SQL Server, ETL, Power Query, and DAX preferred
- Terminal, maritime, manufacturing, plant, or similar equipment/maintenance experience strongly preferred
- Must obtain a TWIC card prior to start
