Production Worker

Job Description

• Perform production and manufacturing tasks, including machine operation, material handling, and assembly.
• Load and unload parts and materials on production lines.
• Operate manufacturing equipment and machinery following work instructions and safety guidelines.
• Perform quality inspections and ensure products meet specifications.
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Read and follow basic blueprints, work instructions, and production schedules.
• Use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and gauges.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the duration of the shift.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.

Work Environment

You will work in a large manufacturing facility with over 200 employees and approximately 40 current openings across multiple production areas. The environment is industrial and fast-paced, with a variety of equipment including spot weld machines, robotic welders, laser machines operated with overhead cranes, rotary machines, brake presses, and die presses, as well as powder coat and e-coat lines.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Defiance, OH.

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Defiance,OH.
